About Us

Hello to our young colleagues shaping the future and to our valued friends in the industry. At Mentor CNC, 26 years have passed since we first breathed in the smell of chips. Like many of you, this journey began on the benches of a vocational high school; after military service, at the age of 22 we stepped up to the machine for real, and combined theory with practice through our vocational college education.

In the early years we had only traditional calipers and mechanical tools; we worked hard to reach knowledge and improve ourselves. When CNC technology entered our lives, we witnessed the industry’s great transformation first-hand: we never stopped learning, producing and growing.

Experience Earned on the Shop Floor

We gained these 26 years of accumulated knowledge not at a desk, but inside production itself:

  • At a corporate manufacturing plant, we worked for around 8 years as a shift supervisor on CNC lines machining spare parts for cars, trucks and commercial vehicles.
  • In the following years we deepened our experience at various companies machining many different parts; more than 5 years of that period were spent in CNC sales and service.
  • Under Sandvik Coromant, we spent 3 years in cutting-tool consulting and sales; we also served as a consultant for 2 years at other cutting-tool companies.

In other words, we have looked at this profession both through the eyes of the operator and shift supervisor removing chips at the machine, and through the eyes of the consultant recommending the right cutting tool and cutting parameters.

Why Mentor CNC?

This experience, accumulated over the years, revealed an important gap to us: in our industry there was no comprehensive, guide-quality resource gathering all the qualified technical information, formulas and calculations under a single roof. We saw closely how much our young friends in vocational high schools and colleges struggled while searching for information online; reaching accurate, reliable information often turned into a labyrinth. Mentor CNC was born precisely to remove that labyrinth.

Our Goal and Mission

We have gathered all the knowledge, engineering calculations and technical documents we earned on the shop floor under a single roof on this platform:

  • Full support for the young: Our top priority is to be a “mentor” who lights the educational and career path of our young colleagues in high schools and universities.
  • Open-source knowledge: Beyond theory, we share real shop-floor practice and documents without expecting anything in return.
  • Industry development: Knowledge multiplies as it is shared. We want to support the growth of you – the young people who are the production power of the country – and to carry this profession to the place it deserves.

On this long and exciting road ahead, we are proud to guide all our young friends. We wish success in advance to all the masters, engineers and future technicians in the industry.

The future will belong to those who produce it.
